Heartfelt Gathering at Co-Artistic Director’s Home
A happy group of Fountain Theatre supporters enjoyed a lovely evening of food, drinks and lively conversation Wednesday night at the home of Fountain Co-Artistic Director Stephen Sachs. The exclusive Fountain Insider Event also included the cast and director of our current hit production of The Brothers Size and members of the Fountain staff. The evening was coordinated by Fountain Director of Development, Barbara Goodhill.
The social gathering provided the Fountain with the opportunity to give select Fountain Family members an exclusive ‘Inside Peek” at our current production and to express our gratitude and appreciation to those contributing at a determined level to the Fountain Fund.
Also in attendance at the Insider Event were co-host Jacqueline Schultz, Fountain Co-Artistic Directors Deborah Lawlor, Producing Director Simon Levy, Director of Development Barbara Goodhill; Fountain actress/Board member Karen Kondazian, actress Lisa Pelikan, Family members Debbie Posner, Patricia Oliansky and Peter Barna, Cathy and Lauren Colloff, and others.
Fountain Co-Artistic Director Stephen Sachs opened the evening by expressing thanks to the supporters gathered and shared exciting news about what’s currently happening at the Fountain and events coming soon. Director Shirley Jo Finney then offered invigorating insights on the issues illuminated by our current production, The Brothers Size. Actors Matthew Hancock, Gilbert Glenn Brown and Theodore Perkins answered questions and shared their creative process. And our invited patrons added their own personal comments. Overall, a heartfelt discussion on the power of theatre and what makes the Fountain Theatre a truly unique and meaningful artistic home.
We look forward to the next Insider Event for our next production of Broomstick, at the private home of a Fountain member to be announced.
